Dear CCI Readers,

As 2020 rolls forward, America’s “Paper of Record,” The New York Times, fails in giving us, the American public, accurate information. Young NYT journalists are put out to pasture to write slanted articles from which both the Military Industrial Complex and the current Democratic party will benefit. I’ve always voted Democrat, but this year I ‘wrote in’ my candidate of choice … which of course has no chance of participating in the 2020 election.

Historian David Foglesong writes a biting article below that was printed by The Nation. I feel it needs a broader readership so am reprinting it here. David points out below that this anti-Russia sentiment dates back to 1920 or earlier. Let us ask ourselves: Why is the NYT so Russophobic? Why is our Democratic Party so Russophobic?

This must be tied psychologically to the NYT and America’s perceived sense of Superiority over all other nations and peoples … regardless of existing reality and the costs. This is extremely dangerous in today’s world.

We are experiencing an explosion of articles in the past week … warnings from scientists, philosophers, physicians, political figures, the clergy, journalists … citizens of all categories. They all deal with the grave place wherein we Americans find ourselves mid-2020.

The Nuclear Threat outweighs every other concern. If we don’t handle this one adroitly, we won’t be alive to deal with the rest of our challenges!

This issue isn’t political, it should not offend anyone. It is a very needed “Wake Up Call” for each American on your and our E-lists.

Dear CCI Followers,

Speaking of “First-Response Rumors being Powerful,” that I mentioned in my email yesterday, an additional report came out saying that the “American Public already believes that Russia gave Taliban Bounties to kill American soldiers; hence, the American public is ready to apply additional sanctions on Russia.

Below, we have a U.S. General in Afghanistan saying that basically there is no direct evidence, except that the Taliban had a lot of cash. Yes, the Taliban has a lot of cash because they openly plant and sell millions of dollars worth of poppy seeds (for heroin production) to the world market, much of which goes to the U.S. … so, yes, they have lots of cash as a result.

Apparently Bounty-Gate isn’t over yet; well, maybe it is… but one never knows.

The top General in Afghanistan, Kenneth McKenzie, just made a pronouncement that he “doubts that a Russian Bounty Program killed U.S. Troops in Afghanistan. He says “more information is needed.”

Dear CCI Friends,

Misinformation and disinformation continues to explode across U.S. mainstream media. Does the New York Times believe Americans are so gullible that we will believe whatever they print? Yes.

Unfortunately, the first hyped-up rumor is what the average American reader will remember.

Experts opposing these rumors in less-read periodicals won’t count— the big PR damage has been done.

The article below is a case-in-point: Larry Johnson is a former CIA analyst. His article won’t be printed in the mainstream media. He will be picked up by sources with much less readership, even questionable sources, hence the original rumor will continue unabated in much of the public eye.

I don’t know Sic Semper Tyrannis or this CIA analyst, but he makes several excellent points that need to be factored into the rumor “Russians Pay Taliban Bounties to Kill US Troops”.

Dear CCI Followers,

What is happening to our Democrat party regarding its shift toward demonizing Russia and China, as well as signing off on huge expenditures for the U.S. Military-Industrial Complex? What happened to Bernie’s intention toward Diplomacy and creating a world that works for all countries? Where is the evidence that we need huge defense budgets to protect ourselves from whom?
