Today I happened to have a discussion with a VP of a large American corporation who traveled to Russia with CCI last year. At the end he remarked: “You know, I went to Russia to just see with my own eyes, what that country is all about today. Later, when my friends asked what I’d experienced, I told them the truth … and they couldn’t believe me, they thought I’d become a Putin or Russia lover!”

What a predicament! Educated, successful Americans can’t believe a friend who is telling them the truth. This is how over-dosed on propaganda we’ve been … not just recently but for decades.

Today I received Russia’s Renewed Nuclear Strategy by President Putin. It came from Dr. Vladimir Kozin, noted member of the Russian Academy of Military Sciences and renowned author of books on nuclear issues. Vladimir Kozin meets with CCI’s American travelers annually when we are in Moscow.

This June 2, 2020 special report is a warning to President Trump, U.S. policy makers and other world leaders. Dr. Kozin wants to ensure that as many Americans as possible understand Russia’s definitive strategy. Let’s hope and pray that conditions never materialize for its implementation.

Our policy advisors should know by now that President Putin, Russian leadership and the Russian people don’t intend to be the recipients of disaster without an immediate and all-out response.

Krishen Mehta and I have been discussing the tragic dimensions of current U.S. policy.

We have been shocked that China, our chief trading partner, is being blamed for the COVID-19 outbreak and its “cover-up” while they were trying to get the virus under control. Wouldn’t we have done the same? We are also deeply concerned by allegations regarding China and other countries that are mild given our record of foreign interventions over the past decades.

The current psychological projection being used to create China as our enemy is even of greater concern since they too have nuclear weapons!

We sit at the most critical point in human history –– the possibility/probability of Nuclear War. Strangely, few Americans are taking this seriously … even though our scientists moved the Doomsday Clock to 100 seconds until midnight a few months ago.

Does it strike you strange that with Nuclear War a strong possibility that both Republicans and Democrats are playing ‘chicken’ with Russia, by allowing U.S. militarism and missile power to push up against Russia’s borders while enabling ISISand other known terrorist groups in Russia’s “near abroad.” What would we do if Russia did the same in our near abroad?
