If Baghdad Wants Us Out, Let’s Go!

January 8, 2020

Dear CCI Readers,

We at CCI have been predicting that for change in U.S. policy to happen, a collective consciousness and rejection against “war-making and regime-change wars” must emerge within our citizenry across America.

That time has come. The killing of Suleimani in Baghdad has aroused the consciousness of Americans and people and countries across our globe. Why? Because it was the worst of options open to us. And because we and they understand this could easily create an uncontainable war … a Nuclear War … from which none of us would survive.

You will receive an increase in emails from us as this crisis moves forward.

We Americans have become so accustomed to creating wars against other nations, that they seems routine to us … like a movie on TV. We do not understand how this appears to other nations, even though many countries are chronically indebted to us for handouts. They go along with us because they must. What a vise to be caught in!

We Americans will pay the price for continuous war-making unless we citizens collectively rise up against the war planners. Our voices, phone calls, emails and letters can force this issue out in the open. Google your Senators or Congressmembers today. It’s easy to get their addresses and phone numbers from the Internet.

We urge you to be in touch with your Congressional offices locally and in Washington this week and every coming week until they take our urgings seriously. Let us at CCI know you are making this effort as a decent, law-abiding citizen of our country.

If Baghdad Wants Us Out, Let’s Go!

January 7, 2020
By Patrick J. Buchanan

Perhaps, rather than sending troops into Iraq and Kuwait to defend U.S. troops already there, we should accede to the local nationalist demands, start bringing our troops home, and let Iranians, Iraqis, Libyans, Syrians, Yemenis and Afghans settle their quarrels.

Fifteen years after the U.S. invaded Iraq to turn Saddam Hussein’s dictatorship into a beacon of democracy, Iraq’s Parliament, amid shouts of “Death to America!” voted to expel all U.S. troops from the country.

Though nonbinding, the expulsion vote came after mobs trashed the U.S. embassy in an assault that recalled Tehran 1979.

What provoked Iraq’s Parliament into demanding the ouster of all U.S. troops?

Iraqis Storm US Embassy in Baghdad; Iran, Russia and China Conduct Joint Naval Exercises in Oman

January 2, 2020

CCI Friends,

We are posting Natylie Baldwin’s assessments of the latest happenings regarding the U.S., Iraq, Iran, Russia and China. This extremely dangerous situation could escalate. Hopefully saner heads will quickly emerge in Washington.

A WONDERFUL NEW YEAR TO YOU!

December 31, 2019

Dear Friends of CCI,

We wish you a wonderful New Year in 2020!

Thank you for the year just passing when you have intellectually and spiritually supported CCI’s mission between our two nations, the U.S. and Russia. For you Americans who have provided multiple volunteer services we are so grateful…  and especially those of you who have paid to travel on CCI’s investigative trips to Russia to determine for yourselves, your colleagues and networks, what is currrently happening across Russia and the world (which is not in our mainstream media).

A special acknowledgement to our Russian Experts in Moscow: President Mikhail Gorbachev & Pavel Palazhhchenko, Vladimir Pozner, Vladimir Kozin, Andrey Kortunov, Christopher Weafer, Dmitri Babich, Alexander Korobko, Pavel Velikov,  the OrthoClinic physicians, all of whom have given of their time, shared their points of view and answered the many questions of our traveling Americans.

Deep gratitudes to you Russian citizens who in 2019 hosted unknown Americans in your cities and homes and most importantly helped our U.S. travelers to experience and understand Russian culture, mentality and hospitality. A huge thanks to all of you volunteers in Moscow, Barnaul, Belgorod, Chelyabinsk, Simferopol, Yalta, Sebastapol, Ekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Kazan, Krasnodar, Nizhny Novgorod, Kungur, Orenburg, Perm, Torzok, Tula, Tver, Ufa and St.Petersburg!

May our 2019 efforts to bring knowledge, understanding, Peace and Goodwill between our leaders begin showing evidences of Hope and Success in the coming year!!!

The warmest of wishes from us to you in 2020!!!

Newsweek Journalist Resigns and Exposes Editors’ Blocking of Accurate Syria Reporting

December 17, 2019

Dear CCI Readers,

More suspicion is being raised about the caliber of our U.S. mainstream media. This time it’s Newsweek, considered one of the best of our news magazines over many decades. It started reporting in 1933 and has continued up to today. Natylie Baldwin reports on Tareq Haddad, an accomplished British journalist who resigned at Newsweek last week, due to being blocked from accurate reporting on the Syrian war.

I believe in 2020 we will be seeing more pushback by the public and journalists as more Internet news sources are revealing truths not being covered in the mainstream media. This combined with the fact that few Americans trust our media may be forcing a much needed honesty in our daily news. Let’s hope so.

Meanwhile best wishes to you now that the Holiday Season is just around the corner!

Newsweek Journalist Resigns and Exposes Editors’ Blocking of Accurate Syria Reporting; More Docs Leaked Confirming 2 OPCW Whistleblowers’ Accounts of Douma Report

December 16, 2019
By Natylie Baldwin

This past weekend saw two more major blows to the years-long establishment narrative of the Syrian war in general and the chemical weapons attacks allegations against the Assad government in particular.

First, Tareq Haddad, an accomplished British journalist who began working for Newsweek earlier this year, resigned last week, telling his Twitter followers that he had done so as the result of his editors attempting to block him from accurate reporting on the Syria war and the OPCW whistleblowers. He also said that in the coming days he would be sharing a write-up on what had happened, despite threats of legal action by Newsweek:

Yesterday I resigned from Newsweek after my attempts to publish newsworthy revelations about the leaked OPCW letter were refused for no valid reason.

I have collected evidence of how they suppressed the story in addition to evidence from another case where info inconvenient to US govt was removed, though it was factually correct.

I plan on publishing these details in full shortly. However, after asking my editors for comment, as is journalistic practice, I received an email reminding me of confidentiality clauses in my contract. I.e. I was threatened with legal action.

I am seeking legal advice on how to proceed and whether I may be entitled to some type of whistleblower protection due to possibly fraudulent behaviour. At very least, I will publish the evidence I have without divulging the confidential information.

Former Ambassador Jack Matlock Speaks Out on “Russian Interference”

December 4, 2019

Dear CCI Readers,

We are proud to present America’s quintessential Ambassador, Jack Matlock, as he speaks out on the very issues that cripple today’s US foreign policy and our country itself. This piece was written eighteen months ago and is even more relevant as 2019 ends. Read and weep …  and act! This is an authoritative piece that we can send to business colleagues, friends and even family members without hesitation.    No one can question Jack Matlock’s grasp of these issues that are still paramount today.
