Why would anyone sanction research facilities for creating a vaccine for Covid-19?
It is hard to believe that our country would do such a vile act. Who put this in motion?
Was it anger at not being “First”? Jealousy? Did they think they wouldn’t be found out?

Two serious watchers of “all things Russian” make cogent points about this latest rumor being circulated regarding Alexei Navalny. Rumors spread diseased opinions when people in power are deeply worried about their own survivability.
David Speedie and Krishen Mehta are men greatly respected in their own fields of expertise. It is time more such persons speak out about contrived rumors making front page news in The New York Times.
