CCI participated in the large Rotary Peace Conference held 15-16 January 2016 in Ontario, CA. Sharon Tennison spoke to a gathering of conference participants focused on Rotary Creating Peace Internationally. She distributed books to people who were interested in working with CCI in 2016 and 2017. CCI was able to network with lots of conference participants, including some Russians who had participated in PEP and other Americans who hosted PEP in past years. Accompanying Sharon was Theodore McIntire, a retired US Air Force acquisitions officer who over the last decade has come to understand the need for citizen to citizen initiatives to identify solutions and resolve issues that are not being solved through other means.
